He was born in 1969 in Barcelona, Spain. After having moved to Mexico City in 1985, he studied dental technique and worked at a prestigious dental clinic.
He started a dental laboratory with his father in 1993, and also started Oral Line Laboratory in the Mexican city of Puebla in 1998.
The great technicians, such as Hitoshi Aoshima, Kazunobu Yamada, Naoki Aiba, Naoto Yuasa, Hiroki Goto, Klaus Müterthies, Michel Magne, Nondas Vlachopoulus, Shigeo Kataoka, Agust Brugera, Enrico Steger,Alek Aronin had significant impacts on Oriol de la Mata’s work.
Since 2014, he has served as an international instructor for Kuraray Noritake Dental in Spanish-speaking countries.
His philosophy is to “try to make a natural tooth with Hitoshi Aoshima’s Internal Live Stain Technique.”
