After graduating from the Dental Technicians School of Tokyo Medical & Dental University, Mr.Aoshima joined the Dental Clinic in Tokyo Medical Dental University Hospital as a certified dental technician in 1974. He started his teaching career at International Dental Academy in Tokyo in 1989.
He funded his own dental laboratory “Aureole” in 1993 and “Perla Aoshima” in April, 2001.
In 1990, he established a unique technique “Internal Staining Technique”. This idea was combined with Noritake’s technology and created “Internal Live Stain Porcelain”. With his Internal Staining technique Mr.Aoshima has been focused on the esthetic prosthesis in PFM, Laminate Veneer, All-Ceramic and Implant works.
Mr. Aoshima was a world-wide well-known ceramist with his high skill and sensibility and was actively giving lectures and seminars in the whole world. He has been a technical advisor and chief instructor for Noritake and has been working on clinical cases for Dr.Chiche, Louisiana University, since 1994.
His books “Ceramic Example” and “Smile Design” were translated into many languages.
In his time with us, he made significant contributions. We extend our deepest condolences. May he rest in peace.
