Christian Hannker, born in 1979, began his dental technology studies in 1996. After having become CDT in early 2000, he pursued the Master Dental Technician title at the Meisterschule Münster in Germany and passed his final exams at that school in early 2005. During this time he was, besides studying, not only practically working as CDT in two different German laboratories, but also followed numerous courses held by various renowned teachers such as Klaus Müterthies and Shigeo Kataoka.

In 2005 he was voted 1st prize winner of the 3M Espe Talent Award.

Later that same year he spend three month studying at the Japan Osaka Ceramic Training Centre before he started his own laboratory and training center together with Jan-Holger Bellmann in 2006.

Christian Hannker is an internationally acclaimed ceramic specialist, teacher, lecturer, consultant and photographer, who has within the recent years gained extensive practical experience and knowledge in dental CAD/CAM production through the CAD/CAM milling center integrated in Bellmann & Hannker laboratories.
